Zooey and Joe ask “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?”

In song, of course. Minutes after I posted my review of Joe’s book, I saw this video pop up on Twitter. I love it. Too cute.

Book Review: The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories: Volume 1

The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories: Volume 1 Edited by HitRECord and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (It Books an imprint of Harper Collins Publishers, 88 pages, December 2011) The title says it all. This book is a tiny book of tiny stories—a book that can be read in a matter of minutes. Despite its size, however, this book packs a punch. Written through the collaboration of 60 contributors, culled from a contributor pool of 8,569, the stories and artwork in the book [...]

Music Monday: Halloween Edition

Happy Halloween! I admit that I am not a fan of Halloween. Even as a little girl my parents practically had to drag me to do anything Halloween-related. But, truth be told, I love the video I’m posting up today and there is no better day than Halloween. And, just for kicks…one more…

Dolly and Queen Latifah in New Movie

Joyful Noise is set to release in January 2012, but I can’t wait to see two of my favorites team up on the screen. Check out the trailer below! It is so nice to see Dolly in another movie!

SMURFS!

Call it nostalgia, but I’m excited about the upcoming Smurfs movie release. Those little blue creatures kept me entertained on weekdays before school and again on weekdays after school. I was a HUGE fan of Brainy Smurf and I STILL have my old Smurf toys stuffed away in my closet. Yes, I do have an issue with Smurfette being the only female Smurf, but I still love the little blue cuties. The movie will be released on July 29th. Consider [...]
