Joyful Noise is set to release in January 2012, but I can’t wait to see two of my favorites team up on the screen. Check out the trailer below! It is so nice to see Dolly in another movie!

Call it nostalgia, but I’m excited about the upcoming Smurfs movie release. Those little blue creatures kept me entertained on weekdays before school and again on weekdays after school. I was a HUGE fan of Brainy Smurf and I STILL have my old Smurf toys stuffed away in my closet. Yes, I do have an issue with Smurfette being the only female Smurf, but I still love the little blue cuties. The movie will be released on July 29th. Consider [...]
…watch and listen to some great country music! “This is Country Music” by Brad Paisley “I Won’t Let Go” by Rascal Flatts “When I Get Where I’m Going” by Brad Paisley (with Dolly Parton)
If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook then you’ve already seen me share these, but there’s no harm in sharing them again! As you know, I’m a big fan of the BBC/PBS series Downton Abbey. Season 1 was absolutely fantastic and I’m eager for season 2 to get underway. In the meantime, some funny folks over at BBC Comic Relief have created some delightfully funny spoofs. Check them out below. Part 1 Part 2 For the real Downton Abbey, [...]
This kid’s playing always makes me smile. He’s incredibly talented. He has load of videos on YouTube, but just caught this one randomly on the site today and thought I would share. It’s from a recent performance. Enjoy!
It’s officially HOURS before Christmas. Ok, you can probably say days, but I start counting in hours once the 23rd of December rolls around. If you’re working today and/or tomorrow, here’s some great reading to get you through the day. And, if you’re lucky enough not to be working, read and absorb these anyway. Brawly Old Saint Nicholas (StoryWiseGuy) – This has become one of my favorite new blogs. Chris is a fellow PR person, a Catholic, a dad, a [...]
Yesterday I posted a very nice take on the Nativity in the digital age. Here’s another great take on the Nativity 2.0. This one is brought to you by the folks over at Igniter Media:
The Give and Keep by Sarah Hart (2010) I’m going to start off by admitting that I was eagerly awaiting this album from the moment Sarah Hart announced she was working on it. Her previous album, SaintSong, is a favorite of this blogger and Sarah’s music has certainly been an inspiration for me, especially in 2010. More on that later. Let’s talk about her new album. The Give and Keep is another beautiful and inspiring compilation from an inspiring and [...]
San Francisco: The Miniature City from MINIMUS on Vimeo. I love my city! Hat tip to Laughing Squid.
I don’t know if my dog can merengue. In fact, I don’t even have a dog so that would be difficult to find out in the first place. That being said, if I HAD a dog I would love for my dog to, at the very least, bounce to the rhythm of the beat. Could I ever expect it to dance a highly choreographed routine? A few days ago I would have said, “no way!” Today, I’m reminded that anything [...]
